Lisha Hanna is senior director of business operations for Navigators Global based out of the Washington, D.C. office.

Ms. Hanna reviews and processes accounts payables and receivables, heads collections, employee benefits and staff changes, as well as various human resources tasks.

Prior to joining Navigators Global, Ms. Hanna served for six years as senior legislative analyst/web coordinator at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) in Washington, D.C. She managed and analyzed numerous state bills and prepared legislative and adjournment bulletins, worked with the internal legislative tracking database, managed information from all analysts and directors, and produced weekly legislative bulletins and adjournment bulletins using ACLI Legislative Tracking System. Ms. Hanna also was a team member in the development of various reports and resources, performed legal and legislative research and performed all duties related to management of the state relations information and documents located on ACLI’s Web site. Ms. Hanna was also responsible for appropriate training of other state relations staff, acting as an liaison for ACLI Web site and publishing staff, as well as making web-related decisions involving the organization, coding, linking and editing of information posted on the Internet.

Additionally, prior to her move to Washington, D.C., Ms. Hanna was the office manager for eight years at Virginia Energy Services, LLC, in Richmond, Virginia. Her responsibilities included accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and computerized accounting for six companies, as well as payroll, weekly payroll tax deposits, coordinating health benefits, insurance services and certificates of insurance. In addition, Ms. Hanna assisted accountants during annual audits, maintained files and purchased supplies.

Ms. Hanna graduated from Radford University in Radford, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science in Library Science and English. In addition, she has obtained a Paralegal Certificate from the National Academy for Paralegal Studies in Mahwah, New Jersey.
