Navigators has extensive experience working on commercial and residential land use development projects and understands the complex world of a land use challenge. We know that a successful development project must be embraced by both the community and local elected officials. Navigators sets itself apart from other firms by applying campaign tactics to achieve the synergy needed for a development project to increase community support and gain political approval.

Navigators is able to provide development clients with a one-stop-shop for all communications, public relations and advertising needs related to a land use challenge.

Navigators’ Principals Mike Murphy and Rob Stutzman, along with Vice President Eric Shabsis, lead the firm’s land use development practice. Most recently, Navigators helped noted lifestyle center developer, Caruso Affliated, win local approval for a $500 million project in the Los Angeles, California, area. The Navigators/Caruso team was successful despite a $10 million campaign against the client by a rival mall developer trying to block the project.
