Sarah Bascom is a principal of Navigators and manages the Florida office.
Ms. Bascom has served in senior communications positions for some of Florida’s most prominent elected officials. Serving as the senior communications advisor to former Florida Senate President Jim King, Ms. Bascom counseled the Senate President and members of leadership on crisis management, public opinion and strategic media planning.
During the 2006 election cycle, Ms. Bascom also served as the spokesperson and media relations advisor for Florida Senate President Ken Pruitt and the Florida Senate Majority 2006.
Additionally, Ms. Bascom was the press secretary for the Florida Senate Majority Leader and the deputy communications director for the Republican Party of Florida.
Prior to joining Navigators, Ms. Bascom was managing director for a media affairs firm in Tallahassee where she advised corporate, private sector and political clients, and directed communications for numerous successful ballot initiatives before Florida voters.
As a noted communications expert in Florida, Ms. Bascom has garnered state and national media coverage for clients ranging from The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Forbes Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, FOX News, ABC News, Bloomberg Radio, Florida Public Radio and all major daily newspapers in Florida.
Ms. Bascom attended Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
